What is ValComms?
ValComms is Windows real-time voice translation software for gaming communication, with teammate translation, a subtitle overlay and push-to-talk translation of your own speech.
Is ValComms free?
ValComms offers paid usage through subscriptions, duration cards and pay-as-you-go balance. Any trial or promotion depends on the eligibility shown for your account in the client.
Do duration cards pause when I close the app?
Cards must be activated from inventory. Once activated, they run continuously; closing the app or stopping translation does not pause the timer.
Which platforms and languages are supported?
The public download is a Windows 10 / 11 x64 client. Teammate audio is translated into Chinese, and your Chinese speech can be translated into English or Japanese where offered by the client. Options vary by mode and version.
Does the English website mean the client is fully English?
The English website provides product information. It does not establish a fully English client interface, payment support in every country or translation in every direction. Check the installed client before purchasing.
Will the overlay block mouse input?
You can position the overlay, adjust opacity and lock it after setup. Try borderless windowed mode if exclusive fullscreen hides the subtitles.
Will teammates hear translated speech automatically?
Local playback and the team microphone are separate audio paths. What teammates hear depends on routing. With automatic copying, you can manually paste translated text into game chat.
What are the latency and hardware costs?
This website has not published standardized latency, accuracy or resource-use measurements. Results depend on network, hardware, mode and audio quality. Test your own setup first.
