ValComms streamer mode provides a native streamer subtitle window that OBS can capture directly, showing what you say in a foreign language as Chinese subtitles for your viewers.
How streamer mode differs
- Subtitles are for viewers: a native streamer subtitle window that OBS captures directly.
- A second talk key is supported.
- Speech playback and copying are turned off automatically to avoid audio bleed.
Some player-mode features do not apply to streamer mode; the client is the reference for what each mode does.
Before you go live
- Complete audio setup with the setup guide and confirm the path with a short sentence.
- Turn on streamer mode in the client and open the streamer subtitle window.
- In OBS, add the subtitle window as a source in your stream scene and set its position and size.
- Run a full test before going live: say a sentence and confirm viewers can see the subtitle.

Make subtitles easy to read
You can adjust the subtitle window’s opacity, width and font size. Speaking one idea per sentence with clear pauses makes subtitles easier to read and helps recognition.
